Irish music. He has been the driving force behind
 the success that the band has enjoyed and is known
throught the Irish music scene.

Banjo and Mandolin

All / Ireland champion and renowned interpreter of traditional Irish music
James is truly a phenomen in the Irish music world. He has won the
All-Ireland title no less than three times. He has played with some 
of the top names on the scene and is a superb talent. 
He plays Mandolin, Bazouki and Mandola, to an equally high standard and there is
 scarcely a tune not known to him. He is the man in the Irish music world.

Box and Concertina

One of the renowned Kelly family and pupil of the fabled Brendan Mulchair 
Nicola is the Box/Concertina player and is part of the fabled
Kelly family which includes Brian the renowned Banjo
player, Martina the Fiddle player and Peter the Box player
also All Ireland champions.


Trim the Velvet

The band have toured America and Germany and played most of the 
large venues here and abroad. Their blend of instrumentation is
superb and they can play most styles, with a mixture of traditional and 
contemporary music. "Time Out" magazine said of them, "Trim the Velvet
kick ass and are a band not to be missed"  Who are we to disagree with that?
